"Spread the love and care; create a harmony communion" is the aim to establish the centre. Living in a community devoid of love and care, new immigrants and cross- border minorities find it difficult to integrate into society. Social problems arise and lead to contradictions in the community. In the light of this, the Grateful Heart Service Centre aims at fulfilling the needs of new immigrants, cross- border families and students. We hope to minimize the cultural and social differences between Mainland China and Hong Kong under the auspices of the centre, and foster harmony in the community; and also build up healthy and close relations between China and Hong Kong in the long run.
